Reebok and thredUP Announce Clean Out Partnership
Boston, MA, April 22, 2020 - Reebok today announced a partnership with the world’s largest fashion resale marketplace, thredUP, to encourage customers to turn in secondhand clothes in exchange for loyalty points towards Reebok UNLOCKED, the brand’s loyalty program.
Reebok customers can go to www.thredup.com/reebok to request a cleanout bag or print a shipping label to affix to any shippable box they have in their home. Customers can then send in any women’s and children’s clothing and accessory items in good condition. In exchange for the items they send to thredUP, customers will earn points for Reebok UNLOCKED, Reebok’s loyalty program.
The partnership is part of thredUP’s Resale-As-A-Service (RAAS) platform and reflects a broader and growing retail trend: As more and more consumers embrace secondhand, new resale x retail models are emerging, allowing consumers to trade-in goods for brand credit, and shop used products alongside new.
