ULTIMATE TRAINING SHOE IS BUILT WITH THE WORLD’S MOST EXPLOSIVE ATHLETE
Canton, MA – June 23, 2016 – Today, Reebok and J.J. Watt announced the release of the JJ I, the the ultimate training shoe forged from the partnership between the global fitness leader and the three-time defensive player of the year.
Over a year in the making, the shoe has been built from the ground up for the world’s most explosive athlete. Engineered to withstand and enhance J.J. Watt’s unmatched training regime, the JJ I was also inspired by Watt’s relentless pursuit of perfection and legendary work ethic. J.J. has taken part in every step of the design and development to ensure the JJ I provided him with every advantage he needs to continue pushing his limits.

The JJ I provides the athlete who wears it with ultimate heel to toe stability. The raised topline midsole keeps the foot locked in on top of the platform for increased support, while the outsole provides multidirectional traction for strong, dynamic grip during the most intense agility workouts.
In the mid-foot, FlexCage technology, a substructure cage with webbing tie-downs integrated into the upper, provides the lock-down feel without sacrificing agility and responsiveness, ensuring maximum transition of power. A second cage is integrated into the toe for added protection during jumping and pushing exercises.
The JJ I also introduces Reebok Liquid Foam technology for the first time, which allows for rapid reaction to every impact.
The launch of the JJ I is a key chapter of the “Hunt Greatness” campaign. Launched in May, it is built from the idea that, at our core we are all predators, but we no longer hunt to eat, we hunt to become our best selves and for J.J. Watt, this endless pursuit of greatness is what drives him every day.
