This spring, Reebok and Victor Solomon come together to celebrate basketball’s evolution via an elevated footwear and apparel collection. Recently tapped by professional basketball to re-imagine its various trophy programs, Victor Solomon has been elevating the look, style, and culture of the game for years, also represented by his “Literally Balling” project that offers an ongoing exploration of basketball icons.

The Victor Solomon x Reebok SS24 collection showcases modern detailing with opulent gold elements to celebrate the beauty between the heritage of the sport and the design style of Victor Solomon. Solomon’s first-ever shoe, his take on Reebok’s iconic BB4000 II silhouette took on special meaning:

“It was an exciting new challenge to take on my first sneaker design,” explained Solomon. “In contributing to a classic basketball silhouette in BB4000 II, I wanted to incorporate signature elements from my practice, like white leather, basketball pebble textured gold panels, while elevating essential components with luxury materials and bringing a classic jersey pattern to the model with laser-cut leather panels.”

Dressed in white and gold, Solomon’s Reebok BB4000 II captures the essence of his craftmanship and reflects the coveted basketball awards and trophies he was recently tapped by the league to reimagine. Key design elements include premium leather overlays across the shoe’s upper, a perforated jersey-inspired upper and sock liner, a Victor Solomon branded hangtag, and more, all arriving in premium white/gold Victor Solomon x Reebok packaging.

Also donning white and gold, while drawing on elements of classic basketball fashion, the collection is made complete by an elevated apparel capsule featuring a heavyweight jersey tee, heavyweight French terry hoodie and matching pant, and Faux leather varsity jacket.
